What a night at the Musician Pub... kicked off by a really great set by Leicesters finest... the excellent The Della Grants. They are a really fine band who just never disappoint... always a great, hugely enjoyable performance...
After a very short change over the stage was set... and we got a huge slab of ferocious New Jersey Rock'n'Roll delivered by the awesome Billy Walton Band.
On the face of it the band is about Billy Walton... Billy is not only a supreme guitar player but also a brilliant front man... entertaining, charisma and energy to burn and full of fun... but there is so much more to this band... vocalist Destinee Monroe has a really superb voice and contributes wonderful vocals as well as guitar... the band is fleshed out with bass, drums, saxophone and keyboards... 6 outstanding musicians delivering an irresistable brand of New Jersey Rock'n'Roll...
Absolutely breathtaking performance... totally outstanding...
