What a Saturday night that was... a rockin' party night at the Musician Pub
First up were the Ramblin' Preachers a hsrd driving rock/blues band with a raft of fine songs and quality musicianship, includsing some fine solos... this was a cracking set delivered by a fine band
After a short change over, the strains of the rock classic anthem (Ernie by Benny Hill) filled the air and as the lasst lines played Adam Jamie, Lloyd and Mike walked on stage and crashed into the first number. If you know The Milk Men you will know what followed... a set of the best most rocking R&B/Rock music you will hear anywhere delivered by a superb band clearly loving every moment of the gig and as always at the peak of their powers.
This band delivers superb no-nonsense r&b/rock music with huge style and authority... there are two certainties at a Milkmen gig... one is that the band will deliver a great set, the other is that you will have a great night!!... i dont think there is anyone out there who does this stuff anything like as well as the Milkmen, or with as much style and charisma.
