Tonight at the The Musician Pub we were treated to a huge powerful slice of country/americana/rock'n'roll delivered by the wonderful Jason Ringenberg.. a real Nashville legend. starting with Jason and the Scorchers and moving on through a varied career and now performing solo.
This was a rivetting powerful show with many great songs, especially "I Rode with Crazy Horse" and "Freedom Riders"
The second half featured predominantly requests for obscure Jason songs... and included dip into the songbooks of Woody Guthrie and Jimmie Rogers
Jason is a huge character with bags of humour, charisma and energy, and this show was truly magnificent... one of the very best ever...
